For business wear, a simple geometric bar like Cavalier or Croise in silver or palladium reads professional without drawing attention. For weddings and formal events, a more detailed design like Quatre Vis or Plato in gold or rose gold coordinates well with cufflinks.

Position your tie bar between the third and fourth button of your shirt, angled very slightly rather than perfectly horizontal, for the most natural drape. Every tie bar ships free worldwide in a gift-ready box and can be exchanged free of charge if you'd prefer a different finish.

Tie bars work best when they're roughly 3/4 the width of your tie. For standard and slim ties (2.5–3.5 inches wide), our full-length bars (around 2.25 inches) give the most natural coverage; for skinny ties under 2.5 inches, choose a shorter bar so it doesn't overhang the tie's edge. Position the bar between the third and fourth shirt button, angled very slightly downward for a natural drape, and avoid clipping through a thick knit tie, which can pucker the fabric.
